We are finally here. The first half mark. It seems so far along looking back, but now that we’re here, it all seems too fast. It feels like I was asleep for the most part of your newborn stage. I barely remember anything haha. And now we’re here already halfway to your first year.
I’m having mixed feelings now. Sometimes I want you to grow up faster (coz it’s already too fast). But when I look back on the pictures and the videos, I’m missing those times when you were this tiny, little baby, when all you could do was cry. Where indeed did time go?
And now you’re eating. Your first solid was sweet potato just like your sister Light. But, unlike her, you wouldn’t take more than one bite. Boy will you give us a hard time next time! You won’t eat on your own (tried baby-led). Sometimes you just wouldn’t eat. But you love those Happy Baby puff snacks.
Aside from having your first food, you can now crawl, stand with support, babble when you want milk and of course, cry. You are so attached you cry when we leave you. You also laugh like crazy. It’s contagious. And squeal when excited.
