On my birthday, my husband and a couple of my closest friends treated me to some RnR. It was a very much needed rest. Moving around has been very difficult as I near my due date, and since our household help left a month ago, I have been doing a lot of house chores, going up and down the stairs, and taking care of Light. It was exhausting but for some strange reason, I have a renewed energy for doing them. I guess it’s part of the nesting phase.
We Can’t Wait To Meet You
Your pregnancy, Little Siris, went by so fast. One minute your dad and I were just talking about having another baby and the next thing we know, we are a few weeks away from finally meeting you!
Nesting Phase
I’m already in my pregnancy nesting phase. It’s a bad timing to be in because we just lost our household help and I can’t barely move. It’s actually taking me a LOT of energy to just do the laundry (with a washing machine!!!). But I’m a planner. Before our help left I was slowly readying our home for Siris. I had all of Light’s old baby/newborn clothes washed. I had the stroller and the best ever purchase–the rocker, cleaned.
It’s A Boy
After waiting for so long, finally we were able to know the gender of our second baby. And it’s a BOY! I have to admit that this gender reveal is more exciting than the first because of the “experiment” we had. You can find out more about it on our daughter’s blog here. Anyway, we’d be okay with either a girl or a boy.
Second Time Around
Here we go again. 🙂 From the start, this pregnancy was already different from the first one. I had spotting for a few days after I missed my period. It was harder to tell if I was really pregnant or just delayed, partly because we only did the deed once (unlike with our first child). But after a week of being delayed, I finally took the test. It was faint, but it was there. 🙂 Successful second pregnancy trial!
