I think it might be for a while before my husband and I can have a real vacation. I am so counting the days when we’ll have a proper, restful trip. Having two little ones on vacation is just not a vacation. It’s just sleeping in another place haha.
Nevertheless, we took this little boy on a road trip over the holidays. It was his first time to try the waters, both the pool and the beach. He wasn’t too happy about it. Her sister wasn’t either when she was first introduced to the water.
We went to Acea Subic Bay before Christmas. It was a nice place and had really nice views. Their pool was clean. The beach, rocky but also clean enough. The best part about this place was that it wasn’t too crowded. I would even say we almost had the whole place to ourselves.

My only complain would be the food. There wasn’t much food selection. We had to leave the resort and have lunch and dinner elsewhere. It would be a totally relaxing (sort of) vacation if we didn’t have to leave the resort at all.
Now there were three.
The rooms weren’t bad either. They were spacious enough for a family of four. We had two queen size beds. We didn’t need to bring our Graco Pack n Play anymore. Plus, we had connecting rooms so the kiddos were able to play 24/7 haha.
